An insomniac outsider, in love with guitars of the Malian desert as well as those of the Texan plains, Clément Nourry gives free rein to his inclinations for gentleness and hypnotic melodies in AMOR, his third album.
It is an electric nocturne in eight parts, intense and dreamy, in the wake of Ry Cooder, Marc Ribot, and Wendy Carlos.
A night journey through the dunes.
A black-and-white epic.
A calm and powerful underground wave.
Clément Nourry draws, blindfolded, with simple lines, grandiose soundscapes.
'The world in which we live is also made of sounds, structured by waves.
We all have a secret life, made of noise and music. This is a glimpse of my intimate sound life.'
Clément Nourry, known for being the founder of the group Under the Reefs Orchestra, continues his solo adventure, exploring the secular aspects of the electric guitar. This project marks a new step in the exploration of the alliance between fingerpicking and sound textures.
He has collaborated with artists such as Adam Green, Irma Thomas, Kris Defoort, and Ches Smith.
